Professional Summary

I am a software developer and inventor with over 25 years of professional experience, having started my career in 2005. My background spans embedded systems, Linux kernel development, telecommunications, networking, and application development.

Throughout my career, I have worked with companies including Nokia, TietoEnator, Tieto Deutschland, Elektrobit, and Bittium. My work has ranged from low-level hardware integration and board support packages to large-scale telecommunications systems.

My core expertise includes C, Rust, Linux, ARM-based platforms, BSP development, Yocto, network protocols, and system integration. I also work with Zephyr RTOS, Flutter and Dart, mapping technologies, cloud services, and self-hosted infrastructure.

Through my company, Paxsudos IT, I develop my own software products and technology solutions. My current projects include STCP, an experimental network protocol designed for constrained communication environments, and Paxsudos Notify Center, a notification platform. My STCP work brings together Linux kernel and embedded development, encrypted communications, performance optimisation, and automated security and interoperability testing.

I enjoy solving problems across the full software stack, from understanding what happens on the wire to building the application people use. My approach follows the KISS principle: Keep It Simple Stupid, that will carry one quite long way.
